Q1Page turning often fails when tapping the screen edges. Is this normal?
A1If you are using a 1st Gen iPad, some lag in page turning is normal.
If using an
iPad mini, the side bezel has palm rejection technology. You may need to tap more precisely. Once
familiar with the tap zones, missed turns should decrease.
Q2Double-tapping doesn't show the bottom index bar. How to fix?
A2Double-tapping zooms text and calls the menu. Try tapping gently twice in a text
area.
If the menu never appears but the title bar does, try exiting the App (double click Home
button and swipe up/close app) and restarting it.
Q3How to zoom in/out?
A3We recommend using the pinch-to-zoom gesture. Avoid double-tapping for zoom as it also toggles the menu.
Q4Does the ebook have bookmarks?
A4No bookmarks, but the App remembers your last read position automatically, even after closing the app. Reinstalling the app will clear this memory.
Q5Cannot download software linked in the book on iPad?
A5All links mentioned (equipment, software, book recommendations) are available on our official website FAQ page. Please access the website on a computer to download software.
Q6Should I read in Portrait or Landscape?
A6We recommend Portrait mode for reading. For landscape photos, you can rotate the iPad
to see the full image.
If the text is too small, you can use Landscape mode and pinch-zoom to fit
the text width for easier reading.
